Designer + Editor

Shaping ideas through design, language and culture.

Having spent a career as a creative force within leading architecture, design, and real estate practices—including HOK Architects, Urban Retreat, Stantec, and Cushman & Wakefield, I have shaped residential and commercial projects across diverse global contexts. This work has required not only design intelligence, but the ability to translate vision into built form, align creativity with strategy, and understand how culture, place, and people intersect.

As CEO of Design Exchange, I helped lead national conversations around creativity, innovation, and the role of design in society - developing exhibitions, public programs, and creativity workshops that connected industry, education, and the broader public. Teaching interior design at Toronto Metropolitan University further reinforced my commitment to mentorship and pedagogy, shaping emerging designers while contributing to ongoing dialogue about authorship, ethics, and the future of the discipline.

Today, as Editor of Ontario Design, my role has expanded from making to framing: profiling significant projects across the province, amplifying the work of architects, designers, and makers, and contributing to a broader cultural dialogue about how we shape the environments we inhabit.
